First establish in 1972 under name of U.D Berkat jaya by three entrepreneurs Mr. Indrawan Hartanu, Mrs. Safrida Susan and Mr. Bonifacius Suryadi, the company began as a pioneer in introducing internationally recognized Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in Indonesia and has actively supported industries with the need to provide better protection for workers as well as to improve health and safety in the workplace.

Due to rapid changes in corporate requirement, the business changed its structure in 1992 and became known as PT Berkat Niaga Dunia.

In 2003, we launched a new marketing identity BERKAT SAFETY that better describes our business focus. In a bid to ensure market coverage and to meet customer demands, Berkat Safety has expanded its network and now has branches located in Surabaya , Balikpapan and Pekanbaru fully supported by its head office in Jakarta . All our outlets will be undergoing a major facelift in 2003 that will reinforce our new identity – Berkat Safety.

Currently, Berkat Safety stocks over 60 international brands of PPE that are approved to most international safety standards including those from Europe, United States, Australia and Asia. Berkat Safety stocks the largest range of quality personal protective equipment in Indonesia.
